Questions Related to the Wash Machine’s Operation
What different machine models are available?
Our Tammermatic FENiX washing machine models are essentially the same as the previous T700 models:
- LUX: Equipped with oscillating zero-point nozzles
- Turbo: Featuring rotating turbo nozzles
- PRO: Using flat spray nozzles
- JET: A fully brushless machine (always LUX)
- Takt: A setup with two separate machines (one for washing and one for polishing and/or drying)
Which high-pressure wash type should I choose?
- Oscillating LUX: The most effective high-pressure system, ideal for achieving the best cleaning results, especially if a significant portion of washes are brushless.
- Turbo: A safe choice that ensures reliable and efficient cleaning.
- Flat spray nozzle PRO: A dependable standard washer, popular for facilities that handle less frequent washing or primarily wash their own fleet. PRO is the most economical choice but always reliable.
The fully brushless JET washer is always oscillating, as this delivers the best results for brushless washes.
Takt increases capacity by up to 40% when polishing washes are frequent. Any high-pressure system can be chosen for Takt: Takt LUX, Takt Turbo, or Takt PRO.
What types of wash programs can be created?
The options selected for the machine largely dictate the versatility of the wash programs. For example, the most comprehensive wash can include features like foam rain, insect arches, double polishing with tire polishing, and rear brush tilting to improve results on vehicles with rounded rears.
The operational goals of the wash business greatly influence which options should or could be selected. We’re happy to help with these decisions!
How is the new user interface more user-friendly?
- The interface is web-based and accessible from a tablet or laptop.
- Washes, including routine test washes, can be started from their dedicated tab, which also displays the remaining wash time and progress step-by-step.
- Moving the machine while cleaning the wash bay is easy, and the hall washer can be activated from the same tab. The machine can also be placed in maintenance mode and used to control hall doors.
- The interface provides valuable data, such as wash counts by program and the number of washes until the next scheduled maintenance, ensuring timely service planning.
- Seasonal program changes can be implemented with a single click to adapt to local seasonal weather conditions.
- In case of a fault, the interface guides you by identifying the issue and offering instructions on resolving it.
- The top screen’s texts and images can also be managed directly from the interface, allowing for quick and easy updates at any time.
Why does the wash machine need its own internet connection?
While customers often have internet in their facilities, the wash machine often cannot use the company network due to firewall restrictions. The machine requires a 4G connection and a router.
The machine must be connected to the internet to enable remote access for both you and us. This allows us to monitor the machine in real-time and provide immediate guidance.
If a washing customer complains about a wash, how can I review the wash event afterward?
As an optional feature, we offer the ability to view wash videos and I/O data retrospectively, both locally and remotely. The system records the last 500 successfully completed washes and the last 100 washes that experienced any issues. These records can be accessed through the interface.
